Start your tour of Main St. with a coffee from Das Kaffee Haus then head over to the Cohutta Fishing Company to pick up all your fly fishing needs before you head down the full stretch of Main St. Browse the outdoor stores like Blue Ridge Mountain Outfitters and Blue Ridge Adventure Wear or the multiple gift shops in town.

Be sure to stop at Cantaberry for the chicken salad sandwich or apple pecan spinach salad. Headed out for dinner? Check out Harvest on Main or the Black Sheep as you can’t go wrong with anything on their menus.

Outdoors

From the front door, step out onto the Green Mountain Trail of the Aska Adventure Area. Featuring over 16 miles of trails, you can hike, bike, or run trails straight from the front door.

After you explore those trails, you can find countless more miles to explore including the Appalachian Trail and Benton MacKaye Trail. There are also numerous waterfalls to explore.

If fly fishing is of interest, head over to Cooper Creek, Rock Creek, or Noontootla Creek, or the Toccoa for public access. Check out the local fly shop for advise on flies or to book a guide for private waters.
